| 26 friday FORT COLLINS POETRY SERIES! 7:00 p.m. FORT COLLINS: The Fort Collins Poetry Series. The Colorado Poets Association presents the Fort Collins Poetry Series, featuring three of Colorado's best poets: Ruth Ellen Kocher, Sheryl Luna, and TBA, at Everyday Joe's Coffee House, 144 South Mason Street (on the east side of Mason, one block west of College Avenue, between W. Ruth Ellen Kocher is the author of three books of poetry: Desdemona's Fire, When the Moon Knows You're Wandering, and One Girl Babylon. Ruth has a PhD in English and teaches in the creative writing program at CU-Boulder. Sheryl Luna won the Andres Montoya Award from Notre Dame University for her first book of poetry, Pity the Drowned Horses, which was also a finalist for the National Poetry Series and the 2006 Colorado Book Award for poetry.
